Leap into Beekeeping!

The Cook County Farm Bureau and the Cook-DuPage Beekeepers Association (CDBA) have joined forces to help you get started down the right path in keeping and caring for bees by offering beekeeping workshops at the Farm Bureau! From selecting the location of the hive to harvesting honey, this fun and entertaining 2-day program will immerse you into the world of beekeeping. What a great way to spend the extra day this year!
The class will be taught by Pete Soltesz and Kim Kulton, both experienced beekeepers and board leaders for the CDBA.
Beginning Beekeeping Classes:
Dates: Feb. 29 & March 1, 2020 | Saturday & Sunday
Time: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. both days
